This delightful spot is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a blend of local and international cuisine in a casual, vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're a student, a local, or visiting the area, this cafe caters to every palate with a diverse and extensive menu.

The ambiance is lively, especially during lunchtime, where the buzz of conversation enhances the experience of enjoying good food. Though the decor is simple, the setting in a university clubhouse gives it a unique character. With both indoor seating and a poolside option, you'll find it an ideal space for casual meet-ups or even business meetings.

Cafe on the Ridge offers an inviting selection of dishes that can satisfy various cravings. Don't miss the much-loved nasi lemak set, which boasts tender chicken rendang that's delectable without being overwhelmingly spicy. For a heartier option, the Punjabi Mutton Masala paired with fluffy briyani is a must-try — the meat is incredibly tender and packed with flavor, as confirmed by the rave reviews from happy patrons.

If you're in the mood for something classic, the Char Kway Teow is good enough to please, but do keep in mind that opinions on some dishes may vary. The mee goreng and satay are also popular recommendations that have excited customers seeking affordable yet satisfying meals, as noted by frequent diners.

What makes this cafe even more engaging is its tech-savvy approach: orders are made through a QR code, allowing for a seamless dining experience. The friendly and attentive staff, bolstered by a robot server during rush hours, elevate the service significantly. Based on feedback, it seems the team manages to remain attentive even amid the lunchtime hustle, ensuring that your needs are swiftly met.

Though it's wise to book a reservation, particularly during peak times, many diners still find the experience worth the wait. The cafe is popular not only among locals but also attracts NUS staff, thanks to the inviting atmosphere paired with good food. Plus, don’t forget to take advantage of the live music performances at the bar area, which delivers a refreshing vibe for walk-in customers.

If you’re seeking a spot where diverse flavors meet a friendly and welcoming environment, Cafe on the Ridge promises to be a memorable dining experience. So gather your friends or colleagues and head over to indulge in what might just be your new favorite café in Singapore!

I like this restaurant, service as always is top notch. They are always so attentive despite being busy at lunch or dinner time. I tried the Deepavali special last week. It was massive and the rice was fluffy and curry was savoury. I also had the Char Kway Teow. It's not bad. This week we ordered the popular nasi lemak set (the chicken rendang is yummy. And not too spicy), mee goreng (very good!), Naan and Tandoori chicken. I love the garlic naan! There were so good as they were made fresh from their kitchen. The cake (red velvet) was disappointing. Quite dry in my opinion. The restaurant ambience is good, brightly lit, the social distancing measures are adequate. I like coming here as the food is often served fast. Just note you can only dine here with a NUSS member.

Pretty decent food at an affordable price point. Throughly enjoyed the satay in particular. Aglio olio and pizza were good as well but not spectacular. Given their extensive menu, I believe the dishes are a hit or miss. The interior is rather tacky, as you would expect from a poolside cafe in a university clubhouse.

Food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The menu is comprehensive. The robot server provided better service than the human staff, who appeared to be unmotivated. The cafe was packed during lunch time so remember to make reservation. Do note that NUS staff can dine in this cafe. NUSS Guild House dress code applies. There is also a bar, which allows only walk-in customers. There are live music performances and live football screenings.

QR code to order your food, friendly and attentive staffs, food tasted great. Though it can be pricey but this makes a good place for business meetings. Got the Punjabi Mutton Masala ($15.50), and Briyani ($4.00) very very tasty, meat very extremely tender. Highly recommend if you are unsure what to eat when you are here. They also serve complimentary water in case you do not want to order drinks.
